Chinese Steamed Spareribs With Black Beans Sauce Recipe

Pork sparerib (1 1/2lbs), Chinese rice wine or dry sherry (1tbsp), minced garlic (2cloves), black bean sauce (2tbsp), cornstarch (2tsp), ground black pepper (1/4tsp), grated ginger (1/2tsp), sugar (1tsp), sesame oil (1tsp)cooking oil (1tsp).
Method of preparation:-
Take spareribs, cut them into 1” or 2” sections. Mix the remaining ingredients in it. Take a shallow heatproof dish or a pie plate that will fit inside your steamer, place the spareribs and sauce in it. Keep it to marinate for about 30 minutes at room temperature. Now set the spareribs in steamer. Steam it for 18 to 20 minutes on medium high heat until the ribs change its color. Do not run out of water in the steamer while steaming it.
