Sago (100gms available at Asian markets), lotus seeds puree (4tbsp available at Asian market), wheat starch tang flour (2tbsp available at Asian markets), granulated sugar (3tbsp).
Method of preparation:-
Take sago, wash them and then soak them in hot water for about 30 minutes and then drain it. Take a saucepan. Boil sago in it until it loses its color and becomes clear. Then wash it in cold water and drain it. Take a bowl of medium size, add wheat starch in it and mix cooked sago and sugar in it. Make a tart shell of ½ tablespoon of sago and add 1 ½ teaspoon of lotus seed puree in it and then add more sago to cover. Now steam the tarts for about 15 minutes until they get clear over high heat. Keep it to cool and then remove the tarts out of the mold.
Makes about 8 tarts
