1. Ripe and firm pears (6large)
2. lemon juice (4tbsp)
3. salt (1 pinch)
4. water (3c)
5. sugar (1c)
6. mint leaves (for garnish)
7. chocolate sauce (for topping)
Method Of Preparation:-
1. First make the chocolate sauce and keep it to cool. Take a saucepan, place it over heat. Add water, lemon juice, salt and sugar in it. Keep this mixture to boil and then cook it for about 5 minutes.
2. Take pears, clean and peel them and leaving the stem unbroken. Remove the core of the pear from the bottom with paring knife. Add syrup over the pears and keep them to boil for about 30 minutes until the pears become soft.
3. Now take off the pears from heat and place them in colander over a bowl in the refrigerator until they get chilled and then drain them. Take a serving plate, place pears on it and spread chocolate sauce over the top. Decorate them with mint leaves and then serve them.
