Chocolate Beet Cake Recipe

All purpose flour (2 cups), sugar (1 ½ cups), salt (1/2 tsp), eggs beaten (3large), cocoa powder (1/2 cup),vanilla (2 tsp), powdered sugar (optional), grated cooked beets (1 ½ cups), vegetable oil, canola or corn oil (1cup+2tbsp), soda (1 1/2tsp).
Method of preparation:-
First heat the oven to 350 degrees F. Take a bowl, mix flour, cocoa, sugar, salt and soda in it and then keep it aside. Take a mixing bowl, mix egg and oil in it and then add vanilla in it . Beat this mixture until it gets well blended. Gradually pour this mixture into the mixture of dry ingredients and mix both the mixture properly. Then add grated and cooked beets in it. Take a baking pan of 9*13 inch, grease and floured it and then pour the beet mixture in the greased pan. Now place the pan in oven and bake it for about 25 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees F. Tahen take out the pan from the oven and keep it to cool on wire rack. Now the chocolate beet cake is ready. Frost it or sprinkle the powdered sugar over it.
