Chocolate Burfi Recipe

Ingredients
1. Plain flour or maida (3/4c)
2. condensed milk (3 1/2c)
3. cocoa powder (3tsp)
4. ghee (6tsp)
5. water (3/4c)
6. sugar (4 1/2c)
7. chopped cashew nuts (3/4c)

Method of preparation:-
1. Take a heavy bottomed frying pan, place it over heat and add ghee in it. Then fry maida in it. Take a pot, boil water in it and then add sugar in hot water. Cook it by stirring until sugar gets dissolved to make syrup.

2. Take a pan, place it over low heat, add condensed milk and cocoa powder in it and cook it until the powder gets dissolved and then keep it aside. Mix all the ingredients in a pan except cocoa powder and cashew nuts.

3. Cook the mixture by stirring until it becomes thick and then mix cashew nuts in it. When the bubbles appear in the mixture then place ¾ part of it into the greased plate.

4. Take rest of the mixture and mix the cocoa powder mixture in it. Spread this mixture over the mixture spread on greased plate as a top layer. Then place the plate mixture aside until it gets cool and then cut it into squares. Now chocolate burfi is ready to serve.
