Category: Chocolate Dessert Recipes

Ingredients
1. Butter or margarine, softened (3/4 cups about 1 ½ sticks)
2. cacao dark chocolate morsels, divided (1 2/3 cups about 10 oz. pkg.)
3. granulated sugar (1/3 cup)
4. sweetened condensed milk (1 can about 14 oz)
5. vanilla extract (1 tsp)
6. all purpose flour (1 ¾ cups)
7. salt (1/4 tsp)
8. chopped walnuts (1 cup optional)

Method of preparation:-
1. First heat the oven to 350 degrees F. Take a baking pan of 13*9 inch and grease it. Take a large mixing bowl, beat butter in it until it gets creamy. Add flour, salt and sugar in it and beat it until the mixture gets crumbly.

2. Place the 2 cups of crumb mixture on the bottom of the pan and then press it with floured fingers. Keep the rest of the mixture aside. Place the pan in oven and bake it for about 10 to 12 minutes until the edges get golden brown.

3. Take a small heavy-duty saucepan; add sweetened condensed milk and 1 cup of morsels in it. Heat the mixture over low heat by stirring until the mixture becomes smooth. Mix vanilla extract in it and then spread it over the hot crust.

4. Take reserved crumb mixture, mix nuts and rest of the morsels in it and then sprinkle the chocolate filling over it. Bake it at 350 degrees F for about 25 to 30 minutes until the center gets set. Now cool it on wire rack and then cut it into bars.
