Chocolate Peach Puffs Recipe

Ingredients
Ripe peaches or nectarines (4small), white or plain dark chocolate, broken into pieces (75gms), beaten eggs (to glaze), flaky pastry (375gms), grated chocolate (to decorate optional), icing sugar (for dusting), single cream (to serve).

Method of preparation:-
chocolate-peach-puffsTake a baking sheet, grease it lightly. Take a heatproof bowl, put chocolate in it and then place the bowl over a pan of simmering water until the chocolate gets melted. Take peaches, cut them halves and remove the seed and then cut them in thin slices. Take pastry, roll it out on lightly floured surface and then cut it into small rounds of about 5 inch with a small bowl. Now place the rounds on baking sheet. Pour the melted chocolate on the pastry with spoon and spread it to 1 inch of the ends. Place the slices of peaches in over the chocolate in overlapping circle form. With the back of the knife, make small flutes around the ends of the pastry. Apply the beaten egg over the pastry. Place the baking sheet in oven and bake it for about 15 minutes at 400 degrees F until the pastry changes to golden color. Then dust icing sugar over the pastries and places them in hot grill for about 1 to 2 minutes until the pastries get lightly caramelized. Now garnish them with grated chocolate and serve them with single cream.
