Easy Chocolate Gateau Recipe

1. Plain flour (1.5 cups)
2. bicarbonate of soda (1.5 tsp)
3. cocoa (1/2 cups)
4. caster sugar (1 cup)
5. melted butter (125 g)
6. eggs (2)
7. butter milk (1 cup)
8. vanilla essence (1 tsp)
For chocolate cream:-
1. Chocolate (250 g)
2. caster sugar (1.5 tbsp)
3. cream (1.5 cups)
4. cocoa (2 tsp)
Method of preparation:-
1. For Cake; take a bowl, sieve flour, soda and cocoa in it and mix it well. Take another bowl, beat eggs, vanilla, melted butter, buttermilk, and caster sugar in it. Pour this mixture into the flour mixture and beat it for about 2 minutes.
2. Take a deep cake tin of 20 cm, line it and then put the mixture in it with spoon. Place the tin in oven and bake it for about 35 to 45 minutes. Then take out the tin from the oven, keep it to cool and then cut the cake into 3 layers.
3. For chocolate cream; take a pan add 90 grams of chocolate, cocoa, sugar and cream in it and heat it until the chocolate gets melted. Take off the pan from heat and keep it to cool, beat cream until it gets thick, fill the layers and coat the top of the cake with this cream.
4. Now melt the rest of the chocolate and spread it on the cool surface to make it solidify. Make chocolate rolls by scraping the top of chocolate with sharp knife. Decorate the cake with these rolls.
