Peaches and Cream Cake Recipe

Ingredients
Peaches, peeled and sliced medium thin (8 large), sieved cake flour (3c), baking powder (4tsp), salt (1tsp), milk (1c), eggs (8), sugar (3c), unsalted butter (3 sticks about 1 1/2c), heavy cream, whipped (1 quarter), freshly squeezed lemon juice (1/4c), vanilla extract (2tsp).

Method of preparation:-
peaches-and-cream-cake-recipeFirst heat the oven to 325 degrees F. Take two square cake pans of 9-inch, grease and flour it. Take a bowl, sieve, flour, baking powder and salt in it and then keep it aside. Take another bowl, beat butter and sugar in it until it becomes creamy. Then add eggs in it one by one and beat it after each addition. Add flour mixture alternately with milk into the egg mixture. Mix vanilla in it and then pour the mixture into the greased pans. Place the pans in oven and bake them for about 25 minutes. Keep the pans for few minutes and then invert on cooling rack. Now mix the peaches with lemon juice. Cover the bottom layer of cake with whipped cream and then place the half of the peaches on top. Cover it with top layer of cake. Frost the top layer and sides of cake with whipped cream. Then spread the rest of peaches on the top.
