Sour Cream Poppy Seed Cake Recipe

1. Instant vanilla pudding mix (1 pkg. about 3.5 ounce)
2. eggs (4)
3. orange juice (1/2 cup)
4. yellow cake mix (1 pkg. about 18.25 ounce)
5. vegetable oil (1/2 cup)
6. sour cream (1 cup)
7. poppy seeds (1/4c)
8. confectioner sugar (for topping)
Method of preparation:-
1. First heat the oven to 350 degrees F or 175 degrees C. Take a tube pan of 9-inch, grease and flour it.
2. Take a large bowl, mix pudding mix and cake mix in it and then make a well in the center of the mixture. Pour eggs, oil, juice and sour cream in the well and then beat this mixture on low speed until it gets well blended.
3. Scrape the bowl and then beat it on medium speed for about 2 minutes. Mix poppy seeds in it. Now pour the batter into the greased pan.
4. Place the pan in oven and bake it at 350 degrees f for about 50 minutes or until the wooden pick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
5. Take out the pan from heat and keep it to cool for about 15 minutes. Then take out the cake from the pan. Dust the confectioner sugar on the top of the cake and serve it.
