For Cake:-
1. Flour (2c)
2. cooking oil (1c)
3. sugar (2c)
4. eggs (3)
5. salt (1/4tsp)
6. nutmeg (1tsp)
7. cinnamon (1tsp)
8. baking soda (1tsp)
9. apricots (2small jars)
Powdered sugar glaze:-
1. Apricot juice (1/8 to 1/2c)
2. powdered sugar (2c)
Method of preparation:-
1. Take a tube pan, oiled it lightly. Take a large bowl, mix all the ingredients for cake in it and mix them properly to form batter.
2. Now pour the batter into the tube pan and bake it for about 1 hour at 350 degrees F. Cool the pan and then remove the cake from the pan.
3. For Frosting; make powdered sugar glaze by mixing apricot juice and powdered sugar in a saucepan until the mixture reaches to spreading consistency. Keep it to cool and then spread it on the bake cake.
