For Cake:- Flour (2c), cooking oil (1c), sugar (2c), eggs (3), salt (1/4tsp), nutmeg (1tsp) and cinnamon (1tsp), baking soda (1tsp), apricots (2small jars).
Powdered sugar glaze:- Apricot juice (1/8 to 1/2c), powdered sugar (2c).
Method of preparation:-
Take a tube pan, oiled it lightly. Take a large bowl, mix all the ingredients for cake in it and mix them properly to form batter. Now pour the batter into the tube pan and bake it for about 1 hour at 350 degrees F. Cool the pan and then remove the cake from the pan.
For Frosting:- Make powdered sugar glaze by mixing apricot juice and powdered sugar in a saucepan until the mixture reaches to spreading consistency. Keep it to cool and then spread it on the bake cake.
