Flour (250gms), butter, softened (150gms), eggs (7), yeast (35 gms in 5 cl of warm milk), caster sugar (150gms), d’juniper brandy (3cl) or orange tree essence (3cl).
Method of preparation:-
Take a large mixing bowl, put flour in it and make a well in it. Then add juniper brandy, milk and diluted yeast in it. Mix it with your hands to make dough. Cover the dough with clean cloth and keep it aside at room temperature for about 2 hours so that it get risen or double in volume. Then beat egg yolks of 7 eggs, softened butter and sugar in it. Beat egg whites in a bowl until they get stiff and then add them into the batter. While beating lift the wooden spatula each time you stir. Take cake pan, fill it half way and keep it for about 1 hour. Set the temperature of oven to 325 degrees F and bake the cake for about 50 minutes. Take it out from oven and keep it to cool and then serve it with creamy hot chocolate.
