Lemon Madeleines Recipe

1. All purpose flour (3/4c)
2. unsalted butter (5tbsp)
3. white sugar (1/2c)
4. eggs (2)
5. confectioner sugar (1/3c for decoration)
6. lemon, juiced and zested (1/2)
7. vanilla extract (1/4tsp)
8. baking powder (1tsp)
Method of preparation:-
1. Take a large bowl, beat eggs and sugar in it and then add butter and blend it properly. Mix flour, vanilla, lemon, baking powder in it and then blend this mixture on low speed.
2. Then cover it and keep it aside for about 1 hour. Heat the oven to 375 degrees F or 190 degrees C. Take Madeleine molds, butter and then flour them. Beat batter and then pour it with spoon into the molds. Full ¾ of the molds with batter.
3. Place the molds in oven and bake them for about 10 minutes. Then remove the Madeleine from the molds and keep them to cool. Dust the confectioner sugar over them and then serve them.
