Panna Cotta Recipe

Ingredients
1. Thickened cream (2c)
2. gelatin (2leaves about 5gm each)
3. vanilla bean, split lengthways (1)
4. caster sugar (200gm)

Method of preparation:-
1. Take a bowl, add cold water in it and then soak gelatin leaves in water until they get soft. Take a saucepan, add 100 gram sugar and 1 1/2 tablespoon water. Heat it till sugar becomes golden and completely dissolves in water. Remove from heat, then immediately divide among six 125 ml ramekins, tilting to spread evenly over base and up sides.

2. Now in a saucepan add sour cream, remaining sugar, scrapped seeds from vanilla bean and bean. Heat it slow till sugar completely dissolves. Then boil this mixture for 1 to 2 minutes over medium heat.

3. Now remove the saucepan from the heat and add softened gelantine, stir it till it dissolves. Remove vanilla bean.

4. Divide cream mixture among ramekins. Then cool it to room temperature. Refrigerate it for whole night to set. Cut the dish into wedges and serve it.
