Baked Apples Recipe

Ingredients
1. Gala or Golden Delicious apples (8)
2. sugar (1/2c)
3. unsalted butter, cut into pieces (3tbsp)
4. apple juice (1c)
5. apple cider vinegar (3tbsp)
6. cream fraiche (1/2c)
7. brandy (3tbsp)
8. vanilla ice cream (optional)

Method of preparation:-
1. First heat the oven to 350 degrees F. Take a glass baking dish of 13*9 inch. Mix butter, juice, vinegar and sugar in it. Take apples. Cut the ¾ of the top of apples to make the lids.

2. Take melon-ball cutter and scoop out the cores of apples and then replace the lids. Now place the apples in dish and cover them with foil. Place the dish in oven and bake the apples at 350 degrees F until they get soft but still unbroken.

3. Then take out the dish from oven and place the apples in plate and pour the juices in a saucepan and then boil the juices with brandy.

4. Keep it to boil until it gets reduced to 1 cup. Fill the cream fraiche in apples and serve them or put vanilla ice cream on baked apples and then add sauce over it and serve it.
