Deep Dish Fried Apple Pie Recipe

Ingredients
1. Rome or Golden apples, peeled and sliced (10 to 12)
2. white granulated sugar (3/4c)
3. water for boiling (1 to 2 quarts.)
4. ground cinnamon (2tsp)
5. flour for thickening (3 to 4 tbsp)
6. graham cracker crumbs (1c)
7. vanilla extract (2tsp)
8. butter or margarine, cut up (4tbsp)

Method of preparation:-
1. Take a deep-dish glass pie plate, dust ½ cup of graham crackers crumbs over the bottom of it. Take a saucepan, place it over low heat. Put apple slices in the pan and keep them to simmer for about 10 to 12 minutes, then drain in strainer and again place in pan.

2. Take a bowl, mix flour, sugar and cinnamon in it. Add flour mixture in the pan and mix it with apples. Then add vanilla and butter into the apple mixture. Now saute the mixture for about 5 to 7 minutes until it gets sizzle.

3. Place the apple mixture on the graham cracker crumbs and then dust the rest of the crumbs over the top of apple mixture. When pie gets ready then serve it warm or chilled in dessert dishes.
