1. Peeled and thinly sliced kiwi fruits (2)
2. oranges, peeled and cut into chunks (2large)
3. fresh strawberries, stems removed, rinsed and cut in half (1/2 pound)
4. water (2tbsp)
5. Metaxa or other brandy (2tbsp)
6. vanilla extract (1/4tsp)
7. whipped cream or non dairy topping (to serve)
8. sugar (1/4c)
Method Of Preparation:-
1. Take a bowl, mix fruits in it and mix the fruits with brandy. Cover the bowl and keep it in the refrigerator to chill and soften the fruits in brandy for about 3 hours.
2. Take a small saucepan, mix sugar, water and vanilla in it. Heat this mixture to make syrup by stirring it regularly. When the sugar gets dissolve properly then take off the pan from heat and keep it aside to cool and thicken.
3. Now pour the cooled syrup over the fruits in the bowl. Mix it gently to coat with a spatula. Again place it in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to chill. Take desserts bowl, put fruit in it and serve with spoonful of whipped cream.
