Sugar and Spice Blueberry Crisp Recipe

Ingredients
1. All purpose flour (1c)
2. fresh lemon juice (1tbsp)
3. blueberries (3pints)
4. cornstarch (2tbsp)
5. granulated sugar (1/2c)
6. ground cinnamon (3/4tsp)
7. cold butter, cut up, substitute margarine (1stick about 1/2c)
8. packed light brown sugar (1/2c)
9. quick cooking or old fashioned oats (3/4c)

Method of preparation:-
1. First heat the oven to 375 degrees F. Take a large bowl, add cornstarch and sugar in it and mix it until it gets well blended. Then add lemon juice and blueberries in it and mix them well to coat.

2. Take a shallow glass or ceramic baking dish of 2 quart; spread the blueberry mixture in it. Take same bowl, mix flour, cinnamon, butter, brown sugar and oats in it with fingers until the coarse crumbs form. Then crumble it over the blueberry mixture.

3. Now place the sheet of foil underneath the baking dish in the oven to catch any drip during baking. Now bake the crisp at 375 degrees F for about 35 to 40 minutes until the fruit gets bubbly and the top gets browned. Then place it on wire rack for about 1 hour to cool. When it gets ready then serve it warm or cool.
