German Apple Pudding Cake Recipe

Flour (1c), egg (1), sugar (1c), peeled diced apples (2c), chopped nuts (1c), baking soda (1tsp), cinnamon (11/2tsp) and vanilla (1tsp), raisins (3/4c).
For Topping:- Flour (2tbsp), white sugar (1/2c), water (1c), brown sugar (1/2c), raisins (1/2c), chopped nuts (1/2c), vanilla (1tsp), butter or margarine (1/4lb).
Method of preparation:-
Take a bowl, add apples and then mix sugar in it. Keep the bowl aside until the sugar gets dissolved properly. Then add eggs in it and mix it well. Take another bowl, mix dry ingredients in it and then add the mixture of dry ingredients into the apple mixture. Add vanilla, raisins and nuts in it. Take a pan of 8*8, oiled it slightly. Pour the mixture into the pan. Place the pan in oven and bake it for about 40 to 45 minutes at 375 Â degrees. When the cake gets baked then takes it out and keep it to cool in pan.
For Topping:- Take a pan, place it over heat. Add flour, water and sugar in it, mix it and then cook it until it becomes slightly thick. Then add the rest of the ingredients and stir the mixture until the butter gets melted. Then pour this mixture over hot cake. Now the apple pudding cake is ready to serve.
