German Applesauce Cake (Apfelmus Kasekuchen) Recipe

Vanilla pudding powder (1pack), buttermilk-quark (500gms), eggs (2), sugar (100gms), yogurt butter, Sgt (50gms), vanilla sugar (1package), lemon juice (2 dessert spoons), apples (500gms), sliced almonds (20gms), fat and semolina (for the baking tins).
Method of preparation:-
Take apples, wash, peel , core and then cut them in cubes. Take a pan, place apples in the pan with vanilla sugar and lemon juice in it. Keep the mixture to simmer for about 20 minutes on hob and then keep it to cool. Take a hand mixer, beat butter and sugar in it until it becomes creamy. Beat one egg at a time in the mixture. Then add pudding powder, quark and cold applesauce in it and mix it well. Take a round spring form baking tin, grease it and then sprinkle the semolina at the bottom of the tin. Spread almond slices over semolina and then add cheesecake mixture on it. Use flat knife to smooth the top of mixture. Now place the tin in oven and bake it for about 50 minutes at 180 degrees C. Cover the cake with foil and again bake it for about 25 minutes. Then take it out from oven and keep it to cool and then serve it.
