German Marble Cake (Marmokuchen) Recipe

Ingredients
1. Flour (500gms)
2. milk (125ml)
3. vanilla sugar (1pack)
4. lemon rind (1package)
5. eggs (4)
6. sugar (250gms)
7. butter (250gms)
8. cocoa powder (3 dessert spoons)
9. baking powder (1package)

Method of preparation:-
1. First heat the oven to 180 degrees C. Take a bowl, beat sugar and butter in it until it becomes light and fluffy. Then add eggs, lemon rind and vanilla sugar in it and beat this mixture properly.

2. Take a bowl, mix flour and baking powder in it and then add flour mixture and milk alternately into the cake mixture. Mix it properly after each addition.

3. Take a loaf tin or baking tin of 9 inch, grease it with butter. Pour 2/3 of the mixture into the greased tin. Add cocoa powder to the rest of the cake mixture in the bowl and mix it well.

4. Then pour the cocoa mixture into the mixture of baking tin and then mix it properly with fork to make the appearance of marble. Now place the baking tin in oven and bake the cake at 180 degrees C for about 55 to 70 minutes.

5. After 20 minutes of baking, cut a line in the center of cake with a knife. When the cake gets cooked then takes it out and places it on a plate. Now decorate the cake with frosting and enjoy it.
