German Oatmeal Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
All purpose flour (1/4 cup), whipping cream (2 tbsp), sugar (1/2 cup), butter (1/2 cup about ΒΌ lb.), quick cooking rolled oats (2/3 cup), ground ginger (1/4 tsp), ground cloves (1/4 tsp) and salt (1/4 tsp).

Method of preparation:-
german-oatmeal-cookiesTake a pan of 1 to 2 quart, place it over low heat and melt butter in it. Then add cream and sugar in it and cook it over high heat until the mixture gets boiling. Then take off the pan from heat and mix oats, salt, ginger, cloves and flour in it. Take baking sheets of 12 by 15-inch, lined with parchment or buttered and floured the sheets. Place the batter of 1 teaspoon on the sheets. Then place the sheets in oven and bake cookies for 3 to 4 minutes at 350 degrees F until the edges get golden brown. Now keep the cookies to cool for about 2 minutes on sheet until they get firm. Then set the cookies on wire rack to cool. Now the cookies are ready to serve. Pack the cookies in air tight container, place waxed paper between the layers.

Makes about 45 cookies
