Greek Butter Cookies Recipe

All purpose flour (2 1/4c), almond extract (1/2tsp), vanilla extract (1/2tsp), egg (1), white sugar (3/4c), butter, softened (1c), confectioner sugar (1/2c for rolling).
Method Of Preparation:-
First heat the oven to 400 degrees F or 200 degrees C. Take cookie sheets and grease them. Take a bowl of medium size, beat butter, egg and sugar in it until the mixture becomes smooth. Mix almond extract and vanilla in it. Then add flour in it and blend the mixture well to form soft dough. Knead the dough by hand. Take about 1 teaspoon of dough, roll the dough into log, ball or ‘S’ shaped and then place on greased cookie sheets about 1 to 2 inch apart. Place the sheets in oven and bake cookies for about 10 minutes at 400 degrees f until they get lightly brown and hard. Then take out the sheets from oven and keep the cookies to cool completely and then dust confectioner sugar over them.
