Irish Sherry Trifle Recipe

This Irish sherry trifle consists of sponge cake with fruit salad, whipped cream, strawberries and almonds.
Ingredients:-
Raspberry Jell-O gelatin (3 ounces), Fruit salad – drain (1 can), Heavy cream (1 cup), Sponge cake (8), Milk (3 cups), Sherry (1 cup), Strawberries, Blanched almonds, Custard, Sugar (2 tbsp)
Method Of Preparation:-
Take a glass serving dish and place the sponge cake on it. Now arrange fruit salad on the top of the cake and set aside. Now in jelly add 1 cup hot water to dissolve it and then add 1 cup cold water. Pour this over the mixture and set aside. Now combine sugar and custard in another bowl with small quantity of milk and stir well, set aside. Boil remaining milk. Now add pudding mixture in the milk and stir well. Pour mixture over cake and chill. Before serving add whipped cream and strawberries and almonds over it.
