Caramel Glaze Flan Recipe

1. Low fat sweetened condensed milk (1can about 14 ounce)
2. egg whites (6)
3. egg yolks (2)
4. white sugar (3/4c)
5. salt (a pinch)
6. vanilla extract (1/2tsp)
7. water (1 3/4c)
Method Of Preparation:-
1. First heat the oven to 350 degrees F or 175 degrees C. Take a heavy frying pan; place it over medium-low heat. Add sugar in it and cook it by stirring until it gets brown.
2. Take a round baking dish of 9 inches; pour the melted sugar in it and tilting the dish to coat the bottom. Take a bowl of medium size, beat egg whites and yolks in it. Add condensed milk, salt, vanilla and water in it and mix it until it becomes smooth. Then pour this mixture into the baking dish.
3. Take a roasting pan, line it with kitchen towel and then place the dish on towel in the pan. Fill the roasting pan with boiling water to up side of the baking dish.
4. Place the pan in oven and bake it for about 1 hour until it gets set. Place the dish on wire rack to cool for about 1 hour. Then place it in the refrigerator for overnight. Now remove the flan from the pan and invert it on the serving plate.
