Eggs whites (6), egg yolks (2), milk (2c), peel of ½ orange, grated peel of 1 orange, sugar (2/3c).
Method Of Preparation:-
Take a large bowl; add milk, grated orange peel, sugar, egg whites and egg yolks in it. Beat all the ingredients until the mixture becomes foamy and get hard or stiff. Take a double boiler; strain the mixture into the upper part of the boiler. Then add peel of ½ orange in it. Cook the mixture over hot water but not boiling water for about 20 minutes by stirring the mixture irregularly to avoid the formation of lumps. Take four separate dessert dishes. After 20 minutes, when the mixture becomes thick like heavy cream then pour it into the dessert dishes. Place the dishes in refrigerator to chill and serve them.
