This strawberry recipe is very easy and quick to make and can be made for a delightful evening.

Ingredients
Fresh strawberries (Washed – 1 cup), Corn starch (4 tbsp), Sugar (1 cup), Water (1 1/2 cup), Red food coloring (1/2 tsp)

Preparation
Take a microwaveable mixing bowl. Add mashed strawberries, sugar, water, corn starch and color. Microwave it for 6 minutes at high with stirring often. Then add 2c. of whole fresh strawberries and pour in onto the prepared pie crust and chill it for 2 hrs. serve it with ice cream or whipped cream.
