This strawberry recipe is very easy and quick to make and can be made for a delightful evening.

Ingredients
1. Fresh strawberries (Washed – 1 cup +2c)
2. Corn starch (4 tbsp)
3. Sugar (1 cup)
4. Water (1 1/2 cup)
5. Red food coloring (1/2 tsp)

Preparation
1. Take a microwaveable mixing bowl. Add mashed strawberries, sugar, water, corn starch and color. Microwave it for 6 minutes at high with stirring often.

2. Then add 2c. of whole fresh strawberries and pour in onto the prepared pie crust and chill it for 2 hrs. Serve it with ice cream or whipped cream.
